Lady Trojans fall in four to Ponca

HARTINGTON — Cedar Catholic hung right with state-rated Ponca through all four sets here Thursday, but the Lady Trojans were only able to come out on top in one set.
The two squads battled evenly in the first set before Ponca pulled away for the 25-22 win. The same scenario took place in the second set with Ponca earning the 25-21 decision.
Cedar took control in the third set to earn the 25-17 win. The two teams again battled evenly in the fourth set before Ponca pulled away with the 26-24 decision to claim the match.
