WYNOT — It’s only early September, but the Wynot Lady Blue Devils already look to be in post-season form.
Coach Tammy Wieseler’s team dispatched Crofton and Blomfield en route to the Wynot volleyball tournament title here last week.
The Wynot girls are now 4-0 on the year after two wins at their own invitational last week.
The Wynot girls beat Crofton 2-1 (19-25, 25-13, 25-17) and then crushed Bloomfield (25-16, 25-10) for a secondstraight 2-0 week.
“In our previous matches, we were a little slow out of the gates and then settled in later in the first match,” coach Wieseler said. “We need to continue to serve well without missing so many serves. I think we can be a very good blocking team but need to keep working hard at it.”
It’s Homecoming Week and the girls will host Viborg-Hurley at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
