Lady Blue Devils earn a pair of road wins

WALTHILL — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils picked up a pair of road wins last week, sweeping both Walthill and Emerson-Hubbard.
Coach Tammy Wieseler was pleased with her team’s effort.
Despite a couple of mental breakdowns, “the girls played well on the road,” she said. “We had a few mental mistakes in a row, but we recovered well and then went on some good runs.”
Coach Wieseler noted Katelyn Heine really stepped up her game at the service line. Heine ended the night with nine ace serves against Walthill and seven againt Emerson-Hubbard.
