Kevin Kim Keifer

RANDOLPH — Kevin Kim Keifer, 55, Randolph, died June 23, 2019, at Osmond General Hospital in Osmond.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Homes, Randolph.

Kevin was born Sept. 16, 1963, at Osmond, to Larry and Charlotte (Berner) Keifer. He is a 1981 graduate of Randolph High School, Randolph, and later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, with a safety management minor, from Wayne State College.

He married Ramona Beavers Nov. 7, 1981, at United Methodist Church, Randolph. They had three children, Christopher, Miranda and Clinton. The family made their home in Randolph. The couple divorced in 1991.

Kevin was employed as a welder/millwright as a subcontractor for Nucor Steel, Norfolk, at 3-D metal works and later, worked as a crane operator for 3-D metal works at Nucor. Next, Kevin was employed as safety coordinator for a windmill company near Wakefield. Currently Kevin was training in utility locating for USIC.

He is a member of United Methodist Church, Randolph, and also a member of Millwright’s Union #1463 of Omaha.

Survivors include his three children, Christopher and Jenna Keifer, Lincoln; Miranda Keifer and Jesse Gomez, Norfolk; Clint Keifer and Ashley Kindschuh, Wisner; two grandchildren, Emmett Keifer, Lincoln, and Kianna Keifer, Norfolk; step granddaughter, Leah Gomez, Norfolk; parents, Larry and Charlotte Keifer, Randolph; four siblings, Mike Keifer, Randolph; Johnny and Tracey Keifer, Eustis; Gina and Brian Comer, Derby, Kans.; Gail and Perry Penske, Cottonwood, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
