CENTER — Kenneth Herman “Kenny” Wiebelhaus, 86, Center, died Sept. 10, 2023. Kenny, son of Herman and Walburga (Mc Cloud) Wiebelhaus, was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Wynot. He graduated from Wynot High School in 1955. Kenny moved to Laurel and then to Hartington. He started farming north of Hartington with his parents and siblings. They moved to Center and bought a farm where he spent the rest of his life. Kenny had many occupations, including working at a service station, a pig co-op, and the Soil Conservation Office in Creighton.He also had his tree stump grinding business for many years. While doing all this, he farmed and ranched, along with taking care of his mother. Kenny enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping coyotes and raccoons, and hunting deer in his younger years. He always had a beautiful garden and lots of flowers. He loved to tell stories and jokes and had a personality bigger than life.

Kenny is survived by Cheryl Werner, Center; his siblings, Jim (Sharon) Wiebelhaus, Wayne; Patricia Potts, Crofton; Herman (Sue) Wiebelhaus, Center; Dennis Wiebelhaus, Creighton; Jane Hinrichs, Winnetoon; sister-in-law, Judy Wiebelhaus, Fort Scott, Kan.; brother-in- law, Alvin Arens, Norfolk; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents;infant sister, Mary Wiebelhaus; brother, Gary Wiebelhaus; sister, Sharron Arens; sister-in-law, Donna Wiebelhaus; and infant nephew, Ryan Wiebelhaus.
