Keiser leads Cedar to rare win over Knights

Posted in:

NORFOLK — Friday’s District football matchup at Memorial Field was full of surprises.

Norfolk Catholic was surprised to see Jacob Keiser come off the injured reserve list and carry the Cedar Catholic offense.

The Knights were also surprised to see how dominant the Cedar Catholic defense could be, as the Trojans limited Norfolk Catholic to just 48 rushing yards on the night.

The final surprise was Cedar Catholic’s 34-7 win. This marks Cedar’s first win over Norfolk Catholic since 1995.

Easton Becker put the Trojans on the scoreboard after a sweep to the outside for a 15-yard TD run. Ted Bengston then made it 7-0.
