Track season got underway here last week as Cedar Catholic welcomed 10 teams to town for the opening meet of the season. (Top) Levi Henckenlaible runs for the finish line after getting over his last hurdle in the 110-meter hurdles. Heckenlaible finished first, with Zohner of Battle Creek in second and Turner Korth of HNS in third. Owen Heimes (above) clears the bar during high jump competition. The Cedar Catholic boys won all three relays on the day. Dagen Joachimsen (right) flew through the 3200 meter relay to help Cedar beat Crofton by less than two seconds to earn the gold.
