Joyce Ann (Rogers) Jones

COLERIDGE — Joyce Ann (Rogers) Jones, 77, Coleridge, died Sept. 12, 2020, at the Park View Haven Nursing Home, Coleridge.

Graveside services will be Oct. 31, at 10:30 a.m., at the Coleridge City Cemetery, with Pastor Russ Lambert officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge.

Joyce was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in Painesville, Ohio, where she attended school. She was married to the late Charles Jones, from Bangor, Maine. They lived in Ohio, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia and Nebraska.

Besides her family, she was interested in crocheting, needlework, plastic canvas, jigsaw puzzles, and reading. She was an animal lover and had many cats and dogs over the years.

Joyce is survived by daughter, Angel, Coleridge: son, Andrew, Lincoln; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Kissel, Willoughby, Ohio; and several cousins, nieces and nephews in Ohio, Arizona, Florida and Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marion; husband of 52 years, Charles Jones; son, Charles Jones; son, William Jones; daughter, Fonda Jones Brickhouse; and brother, George.
