HARTINGTON — A familiar name took top honors in the final Cedar County News Football Contest of 2020.
Hartington-Newcastle teacher Mike Johnson only missed four games in this week’s contest to earn top honors.
His win is fitting, as he also won the first contest of the 2020 football season.
Another familiar name, Shawn Anderson, earned second-place honors in this week’s contest. Anderson has won many times over the years.
Johnson and Anderson have traded the top spot throughout the season.
Yet another perennial winner, Randy Pinkelman was third, just missing out on the prize money in this week’s pigskin picking contest.
