Jeremy William Gross

SALINA, Kan. — Jeremy William Gross, 44, Salina, Kan. formerly of Randolph, died June 5, 2022, at the Salina Regional Health Center.

Memorial services will be June 13, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Randolph, with the Rev. Mike Swanton officiating.

Burial of his cremated remains will be at the Belden Cemetery following a luncheon at the church. Military honors will be conducted by the Randolph VFW Post #5545, the Belden American Legion Post #149, and the Legion Riders.

Visitation will be 9:30-10 a.m., June 13, at church.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.

Jeremy William was born April 14, 1978, in Wayne, to Jerald William and Betty Lou (Wubben) Gross. He grew up in the Belden area and graduated from Randolph High School in 1996. He joined the Navy in the fall of 1996, and served his country for 12 years, being honorably discharged in 2009. Jeremy held multiple jobs after being in the military. He has lived in Salina for the past several years.

Jeremy enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting guns. He liked target shooting, both archery and firearm. He especially liked to take his nieces and nephews out for sushi. Jeremy also loved to come visit his grandpa and grandma, Cyril & Coletta Wubben, in Fordyce.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Jerry and Betty Gross, Randolph; three brothers, Jon (Carrie) Gross, Casper, Wyo.; Jim (Lisa) Gross, Bellevue; and Jason (Shannon) Gross, Temecula, Calif.; two nieces and four nephews, Riley, Ashley, Trey, Aubrey, Chase and Knox; maternal grandmother, Coletta Wubben, Fordyce; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cyril Wubben; paternal grandparents, Jerald & Dorothy Gross; an aunt, Carol Arens; two uncles, Allen Wieseler and Bill Burbach; and cousins, Jerrlie Wieseler, Adam Spaulding, and infant, Austin Wubben.
