Heath E. Jueden

Hartington — Heath Eugene Jueden, 38, Hartington, died Oct. 14, 2019, in Hartington. 

Mass of Christian Burial was Oct. 18 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with the Rev. Owen Korte officiating. 

Burial was at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hartington. Visitation and a vigil service were Thursday, at church, and continued Friday, at church, one hour prior to services. 

Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. 

Pallbearers were Tom Marsh, Brian Berner, Gerald Koster, Travis Koster, Bryan Kalin, Caden Heithold, Craig Ebberson and Greg Ryken. Honorary Pallbearers were the Cedar Catholic Class of 1999.

Heath was born Nov. 11, 1980, in Yankton, S.D., to Ronald Eugene and Sheila Marie (Leise) Jueden. He grew up in Hartington and graduated from Cedar Catholic High School in 1999. Heath began Jueden Lawn Service when he was 8 years old and has evolved into providing all types of landscaping and yard work in Northeast Nebraska and Yankton, S.D. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin on the Missouri River, where he was able to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed playing cards and snowmobiling, but his favorite was spending time with his daughter, Drayklee.

Heath is survived by his daughter, Drayklee, Hartington; a son, Rawley Moore, Aberdeen, S.D.; his parents, Ron and Sheila Jueden, Hartington; a sister, Tonya and Mike Heithold, Coleridge; a brother, Regg and Kayla Jueden, Hartington; paternal grandparents, Ernie and Joan Jueden, Hartington; maternal grandmother, Jolene Leise, Hartington; aunts and uncles, Butch and Rhelda Jueden, Maskell; Dave and Kathy Bohlken, Hartington; Rick and Deb Perk, Hartington; Ken and Sandy Bohlken, Norfolk; Jeff and Mary Leise, Hartington; Bill and Theresa Leise, Omaha; Deb Leise, Hartington; nieces and nephews, Skylar and Saylor Heydon, Caden and Carsen Heithold, River Jueden and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Leise, and an uncle, Dan Leise.
