Hartington-based TV show to begin airing in late January

HARTINGTON — The new Hartington-based nationally syndicated TV show “Heartland Docs, DVM,” will begin its first season later this month on the NatGeo Wild TV channel.
The show is slated to debut at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
The show follows two local veterinarians as they serve their customers throughout Cedar County and southeastern South Dakota.
Glass Entertainment of Philadelphia spent much of the past year filming Hartington veterinarians Dr. Ben and Dr. Erin Schroeder.
Six segments will air beginning in January. Even though the show is still yet to air, the network has already ordered several more episodes of the new show.
