Froendt earns coaching honor

CENTRAL CITY - Coleridge native Brett Froendt was named this week as the Huskerland Prep Report Class A Coach of the Year.
Froendt coached his Omaha Westside football team to an undefeated season and a state title in November.
This was the second consecutive state final for Westside football and the program’s first state championship since going back-to-back in 1981 and 1982.
