Floyd “Pete” Stingley

LINCOLN — Floyd “Pete” Stingley, 90, Lincoln, died April 21, 2018.
Pete was born Aug. 28, 1928. He retired from Schwarz Paper Co, Lincoln. He was a 25-year member of Southwood Lutheran. He enjoyed time with his friends and family, and adored his grandchildren.
Pete is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gloria (Gade) Stingley; children, Colleen (Ross) Dirks, Steven (Mary) Stingley, and Pamela (Dirk) Lowrey; grandchildren, Shane Dirks, Ryan Dirks, Will (Tara) Stingley, Seth (Megan) Stingley, Colin Stingley, Brenna (Dallas) Bortis, and Alec (Alexa) Lowrey; five great-grandchildren; and many more friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvey and Mabel Stingley; four brothers and four sisters; and grandson, Graham Stingley.
Visitation was April 24 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Southwood Lutheran, Lincoln, with reception to follow.
