FFA members look at harvest time on their test plot

LAUREL — The Laurel-Concord- Coleridge FFA test plot is ready to be harvested.
This year, the FFA chapter had a corn and soybean test plot.
Members of the chapter had the chance to research different planting depths, row spacing, fertilizer and fungicides for the test plot.
Jon Graham, Scott Taylor and Lucas Miller were integral parts in getting the test plot going.
The chapter also has a variety of other agriculture businesses that help with the success of the test plot.
The profit made off of the test plot goes toward FFA scholarships and the FFA chapter.
