Fall Fest at Haskell Ag Lab is Sept. 23

CONCORD — Haskell Ag Lab is hosting Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept.

23 from 1–4 p.m.

There are lots of activities planned for all ages.

There will be a Pie Making Tips Session - Make & Take One Home at 1:15-2 p.m. Everything will be provided, and it is open to all ages.

Julie from Pfanny’s Farm will be here to talk about their geothermal and high tunnel greenhouses as well as their ag tourism business. Visitors can also learn about their gardening methods to provide local, fresh, and sustainably grown food as well as other workshops they offer.

Come and learn more about composting including different types, how to get started, why it is important and more from Leslie Johnson, Extension Educator.

Healthy snacks and ideas from Extension Educator Julie Boyle will be available for all to sample.

Attendees can also tour the Northeast Arboretum and learn about the diverse types of trees and shrubs we have here as well as see the hazelnut planting.

There are lots of activities planned for kids including Creatures of the Night, spiders, scavenger hunt, pumpkin painting, apples, and more.

A photo booth will be available to take some fall pictures with friends and family. Snacks and taste-tests will be available for all.
