Expos to host District Tournament this week

WYNOT — The Wynot Expos will host the District 6B Tournament in South Dakota amateur baseball action this week.

Crofton is the No. 1 seed in the tourney and will host Freeman in the 6 p.m. opening game on Thursday.

That game will be followed by No. 4 Lesterville and No. 5 Menno at 8 p.m.

On Friday, the host team, which drew the third seed, will take on No. 6 seed Irene at 6 p.m. That game will be followed by the secondseeded Tabor Bluebirds taking on No. 7 Scotland at 8 p.m. to close out the opening round.

First-round losers will play elimination games on Sunday, July 28, followed by the district semifinals on July 30.
