Expos’ State tourney run ends with 6-2 loss

MITCHELL, S.D. — Winner/ Colome pitching kept Wynot’s big bats at bay all night in Sunday’s Class B State Amateur Baseball secondround game at Cadwell Park.
The Pheasants, 17-4, played small ball, scoring single runs in four seperate innings to help them earn a 6-2 win over Wynot.
Winner/Colome will now play Plankinton in the quarterfinals. Plankinton eliminated Crofton, the only other Neb. team in the tourney.
