Eva Creekmore

HARTINGTON — Eva Creekmore, 88, Hartington, died Jan. 19, 2019, at the Hartington Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service will be at a later date as it was Eva’s wish to donate her body to Anatomical Science.

Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington, is assisting with arrangements.

Eva Marie was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Fargo, N.D., to Frank Xavier and Ura Marie (Kirby) Bohmer. She grew up in Moorhead, Minn., and worked as a certified nurse’s assistant and as a seamstress. She married Roy Lloyd Creekmore. She and Roy lived in numerous locations while Roy was in the military. She had lived in California prior to moving to Hartington about four years ago. Eva became a resident of the Hartington Assisted Living March 21, 2017, and moved to the Hartington Care and Rehabilitation Center Nursing July 2, 2018.

Eva is survived by her five children, daughter, Marie (Lee) Wolverton, San Jose, Calif.; son, Roy (Lou) Creekmore, Hartington; son, James, New Orleans, La.; son, Bill (Wanda) Creekmore, Greenville, S.C.; and daughter, Laurie (Brian) Cooper, Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Fillmore, Rockville, Ill., and Linda (Richard) Klovstad, Bemidji, Minn.; two brothers, Tom Bohmer, Omaha, and Buck Bohmer, Floresville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Lloyd; son, Matt Creekmore; daughter, Sandra; sisters, Joan and Mary; and brothers, John, Mark and Fred Bohmer.
