Eleanor Riibe

LaVISTA — Eleanor Riibe, 93, La Vista, died June 2, 2021, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., July 10, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. Owen Korte officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Michael’s Cemetery, Hartington.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington.

Eleanor was born on April 11, 1928, in Hartington, to Frank and Mary Pick Sr. After graduation, she met and married Gene Riibe in Sioux City, Iowa, Aug. 18, 1949. They had three children.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Judy (Jim) Green, Lincoln; Jim Riibe, Omaha; Gary (Terri) Riibe, Herman; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mary Ann Larsen and Hildegard Huss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary
