Donald Joseph Thoene

BELLA VISTA, Ark. — Donald Joseph Thoene, 53, Bella Vista, Ark., died June 26, 2019, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Ark.

Visitation was June 29 at East Side Assembly of God, Bentonville, Ark.

Ararangements were under the direction of Epting Funeral Home, Bentonville, Ark.

Donald was born Dec. 16, 1965, in Yankton, S.D., to Clarence and Mary Ann (Schwartz) Thoene.

Donald grew up in Hartington before moving to Northwest Arkansas in 1982 and marrying his wife, Tania, Aug. 19, 1989. He worked for Big Brothers Concrete, was a diesel mechanic, and enjoyed camping, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his wife, Tania Thoene; four daughters, Tracy Ball (Bradley); Trisha Thoene and fiancé, Austin Grubb; Tosha Thoene and fiancé, Anthony Oliver; and Tara Thoene; brothers, Duane Thoene (Debbie), Lincoln; Darell Thoene (Joyce), Hartington; Bruce Thoene (Clara), Omaha; and Brian Thoene (Pam), Coleridge; sisters, Debi Lucht (Steve), Hartington; Connie Schmadeke (Dennis), South Sioux City; and Cheri Year, Des Moines, Iowa; as well as five grandchildren; Kaylen and Jourdon Ball, Adrian Mendez, Caspian Oliver and Rylee Grubb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Imogene House; and his brother-in-law, Tommy House.
