Dennis Lee “John” Haberman

SPARKS. Nev. — Dennis Lee “John” Haberman, 86, Sparks. Nev., died Sept. 13, 2018, surrounded by his daughters. A private memorial service will be conducted June 7, 2019, at the site of Dennis and Jean’s first date in Long Beach, Calif., on what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary. Dennis was born Aug. 3, 1932 in Cedar County to Leonard Haberman and Mary Schwartz. He married Jean Meyer June 7, 1958. Dennis served in the U.S. Army and worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph and Nevada Bell. He began as a lineman in the mid 1950s, and was employed in Engineering Department upon his retirement in early 1990s. He is survived by his five daughters and spouses, Pamela Haberman (Kelly Rae), Fallbrook, Calif.; Linda Enwald (Jerry), Reno, Nev.; Gail Haberman of Reno, Nev.; Kristen Taylor (Les), Sparks, Nev.; and Jojo Haberman (Ken Pirie), Portland, Ore.; grandchildren, Ryan Enwald (Silvia Fernandez), Jordan Taylor and Madison Taylor; and one great-grandchild, on the way; brother and sisters, Doris Noecker, Bow Valley; Ron Haberman, Littleton, Colo.; and Marilyn Zimmer, Hartington; a sister, Jean Muilenburg; and brother, Gerald Haberman.
