LINCOLN — Dennis James Culhane, 63, Lincoln, died at home in the presence of his loving family Oct. 29, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

There will be a celebration of life gathering at 2 p.m., Nov. 13, at Rosie’s Sports Bar and Grill, 1501 Center Park Road, Lincoln.

Dennis was born Aug. 26, 1958, in Yankton S.D., to parents Leo and Dorothy (Wilaby) Culhane and grew to adulthood in Hartington. He married Tamara L. Dennis’ professional career began with Elmer Hochstein Construction. He then attended school for drafting and spent the last 28 years working for Hartland Homes of Lincoln. His most special trip to Mexico took place in November 2020 and saw Dennis give his daughter away in marriage. He loved listening to music and spoke fondly of the many concerts attended over the years with his brothers.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Tayler (husband, Chris) Stewart; siblings, Larry (wife, Kate), Steve (wife, Elaine), Don, and sister, Cindy (husband, Mark) Hans; and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews.
