Deborah moved to Vermillion, S.D., in 1966 with her father to be closer to his family after the death of her mother. She married Jack Voigt May 18, 1974, and divorced in 1984. Deb married Jerry Wayne Sargent June 4, 1985. They lived in Palmdale, Calif., until Jerry passed due to cancer June 17, 2001. She moved back to South Dakota to be closer to family.
