Hall earns spot on Morningside Dean’s List

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Kinsey Hall, Laurel, was one of 432 Morningside University students to be named to an academic honor list.

She earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Chris Spicer announced the students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year.

The Dean’s List recognizes Morningside students who achieve a 3.67 grade-point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of coursework with no grade below a “C-.”

Three area students make SDSU honor list

BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State University has announced its fall 2023 Dean’s List More than 3,400 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2023 semester at SDSU by being named to the Dean’s List.

To earn Dean’s List distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale: - Hannah Kleinschmit, Coleridge, in SDSU’s College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions.

- Rachel Ebmeier, Laurel, in SDSU’s College of Education and Human Sciences.

- Madalynn Graham, Laurel, in SDSU’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.
