LINCOLN — The Wynot Blue Devils earned the third seed in the East for the Class D2 playoffs.
The Devils will now host Winside in a rematch of their Oct. 16 game. The Blue Devils earned a 46-20 decision in that contest to close out their regular season with a 5-1 record. The Blue Devils' only blemish on their pandemic-shortened season was a 56-14 opening-season setback at the hands of Humphrey St. Francis.
Laurel-Concord-Bears earned the 11th seed and will travel to sixth-seeded Thayer County in the first round of next week's Class D1 High School Football Playoffs.
The Bears compiled a 5-3 regular season, while Thayer Central put together a 6-2 mark on the season.
