Cedar golfers compete in Wayne Invitational

WAYNE — The Cedar Catholic girls golf team hosted its own invitational and traveled to Wayne for an invitational last week.

Columbus Scotus easily outdistanced the field to win the team title. Scotus’ top golfer, Cecilia Arndt, also earned medalist honors, carding an 87 on the day.

Cedar Catholic’s top finisher was Maci Schommer, who fired a 104 to finish in 18th place. Her Cedar teammate, Jenna Wiebelhaus, only finished two strokes behind her, but ended up in 24th place on the day.
