LINCOLN — The Cedar Catholic girls basketball team will host Summerland at the Msgr. Werner Activity Center Friday Feb. 26 in the District title game.
The winner will advance to the Class D1 State Tournament.
Cedar advanced to the title game with a 50-32 win over Boyd County, while Summerland defeated Elgin/Pope John 48-32 to earn a spot in the District title game.
Cedar, 17-7, earned the third seed in the tournament, while Summerland, 13-8, comes in as the 14th seed.
Because of changes due to COVID, the State Tournament has moved to a four-day event. Class D1 teams will begin play on Wednesday. this year.
