Cedar girls to host District title game Friday

LINCOLN — The Cedar Catholic Lady Trojans drew the fourth seed and will host 13th seed Niobrara-Verdigre in the District finals Friday night.
The winner earns a trip to the D1 State Tournament. First-round action at State begins on Wednesday, March 1.
Cedar won their SubDistricts to adance to the District title game.
Cedar defeated Norfolk Catholic 49-33 to advance, while N-V earned a seat at the table even after losing to Elgin Public / Pope John 40-32 in the D1-5 SubDistrict title game.
