Brian Joshua Huddleston

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Brian Joshua Huddleston, 33, son of Tom and Lori (White) Huddleston, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 from diabetic complications. Services and Inurnment were held Oct. 12 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Okla. Arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Southlawn Funeral Chapel, Tulsa, Okla. Brian was born Dec. 8, 1984, in Alliance. He graduated from Broken Arrow (Okla.) High School in 2003, and enlisted in the Army in 2004. He served one tour in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged from the Army in December 2011. Brian was a proud veteran and cared deeply for his fellow soldiers. He married Destiny Stice in 2004. Together they had a son, Brian Zachary Huddleston. Brian loved to play video games and was quite the pool shark. He would challenge anyone to a game and was loved by the Tulsa Billiards Community. He is survived by his son, Brian Zachary Huddleston; his parents, Tom and Lori (White) Huddleston; grandparents, Harold and Lois (Larson) White, Broken Arrow Okla.; grandparents, Paul and Joan (Marquardt) Huddleston, Laurel; brother, Robert (Heather) Huddleston, Poulsbo Wash.; brother, Collin (Hillary) Huddleston, Broken Arrow Okla.; nephew, Aiden, Poulsbo, Wash.; niece, Lily, Poulsbo, Wash.; aunt Jodie (Steve) Thompson, Laurel; uncle, Bradley White, Wayne; cousins, Amber (Tyler) Specht, Laurel; Kyle (Mandi) Thompson, Norfolk; and Alli Thompson, Hong Kong, China. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, and uncle, Paul William Huddleston. A memorial fund has been set up in Brian’s name, for his son, Zach, at Western Sun Federal Credit Union, 71 St. & Garnett, Broken Arrow.
