Bradley Dean Chase

LAUREL — Bradley Dean Chase, 65, Laurel, died Jan. 20, 2024, at Faith Regional Hospital, Norfolk.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Jan. 26, at the Wakefield Christian Church, Wakefield.

A visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Jan. 25, at the Wakefield Christian Church.

Burial will be in the Springbank Friends Cemetery, at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Smith Funeral Home, Wakefield.

Brad was born in Sioux City, Iowa, June 11, 1958, the son of Billy and Arlene (Backman) Chase. He graduated from Allen High School in 1977. Following graduation, he worked as a drywaller for a time, until later working at Waldbaum’s and most recently at Great Dane, Wayne.

He enjoyed trapping, fishing and hunting. Brad is survived by his daughters, Ashley Chase, Omaha, and Lacy Chase and her children, Bianca, Tiffany, Michael and Nikolace, Wakefield; brothers, Bill Chase, Wakefield; Rick Chase, Allen; Jeff (Vicky) Chase, Holdrege; and a sister, Lisa (Steve) McMahon-Gunsolley, Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Arlene; brother, Brent Chase; and a nephew, Andrew Chase.
