Bobbie Jean Reifenrath

LAUREL — Bobbie Jean Reifenrath, 75, Laurel, died June 29, 2020, at her residence in Laurel.

A memorial service was held July 7 at the Evangelical Free Church, Concord, with Pastor Todd Thelen officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Laurel.

Bobbie was born May 4, 1945, in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. After high school, she attended college at Wayne State. Bobbie married Freddy Paul Reifenrath ndemic June 1, 1968, in Dakota City. Together, they had four children.

Bobbie loved photography, especially photographing nature and old barns. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, journaling, and loved her family and her five cats. She was a very spiritual person and was involved in a bible study group. She was also a member of the Evangelical Free Church, Concord.

Bobbie had some very close friends in Laurel, and always enjoyed her Friday morning coffee with Jackie. Her family and friends will always remember her great sense of humor.

Bobbie is survived by her children, Dawn Tift, Emerson; La-Vaille Reifenrath, Emerson; Frederick (Julie) Reifenrath, Dakota City; and Justin (Corrine) Reifenrath, Emerson; grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Caleb, Jeremiah, Austin, Raegan, River, Kaitilyn andAva; great-grandchildren, Lily, Kaden, Gabriella, Ronan, Charlie and Marley; brother, Mike (Debbie) Wiggs, and a sister, Tammy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Betty Wiggs; husband, Freddy Reifenrath, Nov. 13, 2007; and her fur babies, Roxie, Cha-Cha and Ruby.
