Blue Devils land six on all-district football team

WYNOT — Wynot grabbed six spots on the first team of the D2-3 All-District Football team as voted on by the district coaches.

In addition, the Blue Devils placed three players on the honorable mention list.

Senior, James Collins and juniors, Carson Wieseler and Dylan Heine were named to the first team offense.

Juniors, Zach Foxhoven and Chase Schroeder and senior, Colin Wieseler were tabbed for the first team defense.

On the honorable mention list, Wynot had juniors Brennan Heimes and Joe Sudbeck along with freshman Kaen Koch.

Wausa, Randolph, Osmond, Bloomfield and Creighton were in district D2-3 along with the Blue Devils.

Wausa had four players on the first team, the Cardinals had one, the Tigers had a couple, the Bees had five and the Bulldogs had three.

Wynot completed the 2022 season with an 8-2 record after falling to Bloomfield in the quarterfinals 34-22 after beating the Bees in the regular season, 44-30 in the last game of the regular season.
