Bike blessing and fun run are planned for May 17

HARTINGTON — Holy Trinity/Saint Michael’s Catholic parishes are having a bike blessing Sunday, May 17, at 1 p.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, followed by a fun-run.
The event will feature a motorcycle ride to the area Catholic churches (that are on paved roads).
The event comes with a $10 per rider fee, and $5 for the passenger.
Hot Rods and even minivans are also welcome after the bikes leave.
There will be a dice roll at each church,
“Visit the beautiful churches, social distance, have fun, repeat. Fifty percent of the payout goes for high score, 40 percent for low score, and 10 percent is held to pay for prizes for the kids’ bicycle blessing and ride that starts at 2 p.m. and has games around town.
