Beverly Raasch

RANDOLPH — Memorial services for Beverly Raasch, 86,Randolph, formerly of Beemer, were Oct. 28 at the Beemer Mennonite Church.  

Interment was in the Beemer Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Beemer American Legion Hall.  

Visitation was Sunday at the Minnick Funeral Home , West Point, and continued Monday, prior to the service at the church.

Beverly died Oct. 21, 2019, at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home, Beemer. Beverly Ann (Brown) Raasch was born May 6, 1933, at Beemer, to Duane and Audrey (Nelson) Brown.  Beverly attended school in Beemer and graduated from Beemer High School in 1950. She married Adolph Raasch Jr. Nov. 18, 1951, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Beemer.  Bev worked for many years managing the restaurant at the Indian Trails Country Club, south of Beemer, and also worked at the Lazy Dude, Beemer.

Beverly enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and the occasional trip across the river.

Survivors include her son, Dolph and Raye Raasch, Vista, Calif.; son, Dana Raasch, Vista, Calif.; daughter, Denise and John Aschoff, Randolph; and son, Drew and Nicki Raasch, Edwardsville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, with two additional arriving in 2020; and sister, Barbara Nicas, Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Audrey Brown;and her husband, Adolph Raasch Jr.
