Beata was born March 5, 1933, to Anton J. and Cecelia C. (Sudbeck) Lammers on the family farm west of Hartington. She attended the Lammers Ranch School and St. John’s Elementary School in Fordyce and graduated from Holy Trinity High School, Hartington. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved playing Sheephead. She especially enjoyed family history and reminiscing about the old days.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fordyce, and St. John’s Ladies Guild. She joined Holy Trinity Catholic Church when they moved to Hartington. She was also a member of the Help You Neighbor Club of Pleasant Valley, helping other members whenever the need arose. She enjoyed bowling, watching baseball and traveling to see her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her brother, Roman (Margie) Lammers, Calimesa, Calif., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John “Jack” Lammers, in 2016; Richard “Dick” Lammers, in 2023; and Linus Lammers, in 2023; two infant sisters, Lorrayne and Catherine; and nephews, Brian and Gary Lammers.
