COLERIDGE — Audrey Bieg, 99, Coleridge, died Aug. 29, 2020, at Park View Haven Nursing Home, Coleridge.

Graveside services will be Sept. 8, at 2 p.m., at the Coleridge City Cemetery, with Pastor Russ Lambert officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge.

Audrey (Wait) Bieg was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Sioux City, Iowa. As an infant, she was adopted by Lisle and Jessi (Kirkpatrick) Wait. She was raised in Coleridge and lived the majority of her life there. Audrey married Walt Bieg June 25, 1938, in Coleridge. They were happily married for 46 years and had one son, Gerald Lisle Bieg. Audrey was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge.

Audrey is survived by her five granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Zilke, Coon Rapids, Minn.; Patricia Krumrie, Bridgman, Mich.; Amy Springer, Galien, Mich.; Michelle Deau, Michigan City, Ind.; and Penny Denton, Three Oaks, Mich.; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Daniel and Emily Zilke; Shelby (Joseph) Krumrie Zielke; Cheyenne and Collin Krumrie; Joshua Springer; Alexis and Sierra Deau; and Genevie Wenger; eight great-great-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter John Bieg, Sept. 5, 1985; son, Gerald Bieg, in 2020; and daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Bieg.
