Area students have been named to SDSU’s Dean’s List

BROOKINGS, S.D. — The following students have been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence after the fall 2019 semester at South Dakota State University, Nicole Marie Zavadil, Fordyce, College of Nursing; Isaac J Creamer*, Hartington, College of Education and Human Sciences, College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; Austin Brian Lange*, Hartington, College of Natural Sciences, College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; Nathaniel John Wieseler*, Saint Helena, Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering; and Cortney Jo Arkfeld, Wynot, College of Nursing.

To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students with an asterisk received a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The list contains more than 2,700 students from 32 states and 29 foreign nations. More than 1,000 students recorded a 4.0.
