Area residents earn milestones in blood donations

HARTINGTON — LifeServe Blood Center held a blood drive in Hartington March 28, with a great turnout of 41 donors registered and 43 units of life saving blood collected! The units donated at the blood drive can help save up to 129 lives.

The following donor(s) also hit milestones with their most recent donation: Lois Lammers, one gallon; Craig Rolfes, one gallon; Rebecca Meisenheimer, three gallons; Scott Keiter, eight gallons; Duane Kathol, nine gallons; and Dennis Schumacher, 14 gallons Leroy Hansen coordinated the blood drive and Trinity Lutheran Church hosted the event.

The next Hartington Community Blood Drive will be 12:30-6 p.m., April 11, at the Hartington VFW.
