YANKTON, S.D. — A long-time Cedar County family kept a long-time tradition alive over the weekend.
For a century now the Tuttle family, which has deep roots in Cedar County, has been reuniting to share memories and update each other on their lives.
On Sunday more than 200 family members came from all over the county for their 100th family reunion near the shores of the Missouri River.
The Tuttle family has been in this region since the 1850s.
The reunion dates back to Ebenezer Tuttle. He and his wife had eight children and those eight children are the ones that started this reunion 100 years ago.
