Area athletes to compete in All Star basketball games
NORFOLK — Several area athletes will take part in the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball games June 18.
The girls game will tip off at 6 p.m., at the Cox Activities Center, Norfolk, and will be followed by the boys’ game at 8 p.m., at the Cox Activities Center, Norfolk.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge’s Cael Hartung will compete for the Light Team.
Cedar Catholic’s Myles Thoene, and Anthony Haberman, Wynot, will compete on the Dark Team.
Cedar Cathoic’s Brynn Wortmann will team up with coach Craig Wortmann for one final game as the duo have been assigned to the Light Team. Craig Wortmann is the assistant coach for the game, while Kandee Hanzel, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, will be the head coach.
