Area gasoline prices see a two-cent dip

LAUREL — The August Westphalen residence, three miles west of Laurel, was destroyed by lightning. Mr. Westphalen is making arrangements to rebuild.

LAUREL — Frank Hoogner of Kingsburg, Cal., has been visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity the past month. He purchased the Joe Schnied farm four miles south of Laurel, Saturday. Consideration $25 per acre.

LAUREL — Friday evening the Masonic lodge, which has been running under dispensation the past six months, was regularly instituted under the name of Laurel Lodge No. 248.

LAUREL -Gasoline took a 2-cent drop in Randolph Tuesday as the result of the general lowering of prices in the gas war in the middle west.

The product now sells for 22 cents per gallon at pumps and filling stations, 20 cents off the wagon in town, and 20½ cents off the wagon in the country.
