911 Calls June 10: Report of a two-car head-on collision at the Highway 15-59 intersection. The Laurel ambulance was dispatched.
A 911 call came in by accident. Someone at the golf course accidentally bumped their phone and it dialed 911.
Fire alarm went o at Hillcrest nursing home in Laurel. The call was determined to be a false alarm when city ocials investigated but could not find any evidence of smoke, heat or fire.
Caller asked if there is an ordinance against loud music at the Lewis and Clark lake. She was told to contact park rangers.

June 11: Caller reports she has been getting suspicious texts from the DMV and wants law enforcement to be aware of them.
Hartington woman calls to ask for an ambulance after severely cutting her hand.
Caller reported she is at an ATM and cannot get her credit card back out of the machine. Dispatcher gave her the number for the bank.
June 12: Randolph caller reports an elderly female has fallen and needs medical treatment.
Laurel ambulance paged out for a man near Dixon who could be having a stroke.
Laurel resident called to report a missing fouryear- old child. The child was later found hiding in a suitcase.
June 14: Hartington woman calls for help get- ting her husband up o the floor after he fell.
Cell phone user accidentally dialed 911.
Laurel resident called to inform Sheri's oce they would soon be blocking the highway to start the Ag Days parade.
Coleridge resident calls to report that a person is driving a four-wheeler through town with an infant on board. Caller is concerned for the safety of
the child. "I don't want to be peeling a baby o the pavement.”
Laurel resident called to report guns being shot on her street. “They scared me and my dog.
They don't need to be doing that in town.”
Laurel woman called to inform law enforcement that people on a four-wheeler keep driving past her house and threatening her. She asks to have a police ocer talk to them.

Man called to report a fire under the Meridian Bridge.
June 15: Man reported he is on the Missouri River and just saw two young women stranded on an island in the river.
Woman calls to report a truck is on fire east of Crofton. Dispatcher pages out Crofton Fire Department. Caller then called back to say truck fire has been extinguished and the fire department is not needed.
Caller reports a
kitchen fire in Coleridge.
Coleridge Fire Department is paged out.
Caller tells dispatcher that a pivot is spraying water onto a country road.
Hartington caller reported their outdoor grill is on fire. She said not to call the fire department, though, because it is now out.
Laurel caller says his dog was just attacked by another dog. He would like a policeman to talk to the owners.
June 16: Caller reports a truck on Highway 81 headed south toward Randolph is weaving and looking as the driver could be drunk.
Area nursing home calls to request an ambulance for a resident who has an infection in an open wound on her toe.
Menominee area woman called to report a strange dog is at her residence and would like someone to get it. She was advised to leave it alone and it might go back home on its own.
Man called to ask for assistance in getting a tow truck for his vehicle which broke down on the highway.
Hartington Fire Department called to say they had issued a burn permit for Alton Heimes.
Emergency Management Director called in from just north of Hartington to report “a wall of water, high winds and quarter-size hail.”
