Randolph school bells will ring this week

RANDOLPH — The last pool splashes have faded, the smell of fresh pencils and gym floor polish fills the air, and Cardinals jerseys hang ready in the locker room.

Yes. Summer’s final curtain has dropped — it’s back-to-school time in Randolph.

After weeks of preparation, Randolph Public Schools are ready to welcome students when the first bell rings Thursday, Aug. 14 for a full day of school.

Classrooms are in order, lesson plans are set, and the doors will swing open to a brand-new school year.

For the youngest learners, the excitement starts a little earlier.

An elementary school open house was held Tuesday, Aug. 12, giving students and families a chance to explore their classrooms, meet their teachers, and shake off any of those first-day jitters.

This year’s school calendar gives students the day off on most Mondays as the school continues its practice of conducting classes four-days a week
