Congressman Smith to visit Cedar Co. GOP

LAUREL — Nebraska Third District Congressman, Adrian Smith, will be visiting Laurel for a meet and greet with a time for questions and answers Friday, Aug. 8, from 5-6 p.m., at the VFW Hall in Laurel.

This visit will be to discuss the One Big Beautiful Bill passage and how it affects constituents and current congressional issues. Congressman Smith, who has represented the 3rd Congressional District for 10 sessions, will be running again for re-election in 2026.

Congressman Smith represents Nebraskans on the Ways and Means Committee, Trade Subcommittee and Subcommittee on Health.
