Color our World

Color our World

The Hartington Public Library ended its “Color our World” annual summer reading program July 16, with over 150 area kids registered for the program, with lots of books read and prizes given. Cedar County Extension office partnered with the library this year, and Security Bank donated the finale prizes, and the help of the Friends of the Library group is always appreciated. The year’s 2025 Top Readers were Levi Rolfes, Grace Rolfes, Luke Freeman, Autumn Fiscus and August Lippert (not pictured). Finale Prize winners were (top) Emily Feilmeier, Grace Rolfes, Samantha Reyes, Lauren Leise and Abby Beckman. Dr. Oxygen (middle left) entertained his audience the last day with plenty of bubbles and science experiments. Avely Hoclistein assisted Dr. Oxygen. Ellie and Braxton Kathol (middle right), with Autumn Fiscus and Darcy Stappert (above) worked on outdoor projects. There is still a lot of summer left, so visit your local library to get a great head start on school.
