JACKSON — Grants are available to communities served by Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company thanks to the Foundation for Rural Service.
The FRS is the non-profit arm of the National Rural Broadband Association. NNTC is a supporting member of both organizations by assisting in community grant opportunities for its customers.
To be eligible for an FRS Community Grant with NNTC as a sponsoring company, the project should be taking place in a community with NNTC services or serving a group with some of those group members having NNTC services at home or at work.
If you can answer ‘yes’ to one or more of these questions, you’re likely eligible for a grant from $250 to $5,000.
Information and instructions on how to apply can be found on NNTC’s website: www.nntc.net under “About Us” and “Community Grant.” Applications are due online by Sept. 3, http://www.nntc.net
