RANDOLPH — With the Cedar County Fair just three weeks away, preparations are in order.
This year’s event will run from July 16-20.
The flag-raising ceremony will kick off the fair July 16, followed by the annual hamburger feed.
The Cedar County Talent Show will then be held in the open class building at 7:30 p.m.
Registration is open now through July 10 for anyone wanting to take part in the talent show. Contestants can be as young as four years old.
The PRCA rodeo will again be held Thursday night. This year’s event will debut a new feature — an instant replay screen.
Friday kicks off the three nights of entertainment as the Cedarstock Musicfest begins.
With six bands in total and three headliners, the event is sure to draw big crowds.
Day one features 27-year-old singer and songwriter Dylan Marlowe.
Day two is headlined by 39-year-old singer, songwriter, and reality television show Survivor contestant Chase Rice.
Sunday holds the free barrel racing show starting at 11:30 a.m.
Singer and songwriter Ashley Cooke will take to the grandstand stage Sunday night.
All concerts start at 8:30 p.m. and tickets range from $25 to $35. Children ages 5 and under are free.
