Storm Damage

Hail and high winds whipped through CedarCountylateMondayafternoonand early evening knocking down buildings, bins, trees and some power lines. Ping pong ball sized hail was reported in some sections of the county. The storm hit quickly and left the area just as fast. More storms were predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. (below) This Belden area bin was knocked over by the high winds, while the storm also tookoutsomeareapowerpoles,treesand tree branches and ripped the roofs off of some buildings.
