Northeast Nebraska Experimental Farm association, under temporary chairmanship of Watson, is raising funds for purchase of a farm for an experiment station in northeast Nebraska.
Although purchased with private money, the farm will be operated by the university extension service.

Resumption of the drive is set for July 15, when solicitors will again start calling on farmers, landowners and land management companies to sell $25 memberships in the association.
These memberships entitle the holder to a vote in the organization. Directors of the permanent group will be elected by holders of memberships. Each county will elect one director.
Site of the farm has not been selected. This choice will be made by elected directors after the drive ends.
